Christmas

Christmas is always my favorite time of year, and I think this was one of the most fun Christmases yet. We started off by doing the usual holiday baking. It's even more fun now that I have helpers in the kitchen.

On Christmas Eve we had our traditional turkey dinner, which was absolutely delicious and we all ate too much. In the evening we opened our new pajamas and read our advent story, Jotham's Journey.

Pico, from Hong Kong, was one of my AYUSA students last year. She is now attending college in Coos Bay, so she spent Christmas with us. It was so much fun to have her here, and she really enjoyed it too. She plans to introduce some of our Christmas traditions to her family in Hong Kong.

Christmas morning is always early for us, and this year was no exception. The festivities began at 4:40. We had so much fun exchanging gifts, talking, laughing, and eating. Hap, Laurie, and Braidon arrived around 6:45 and spent part of the day with us. Uncle Brad got to read him a story (or two, or ten, or a hundred...)

Merry Christmas from us!

What a good display of pictures. Very interesting in all you said.
We did have fun, and I too, think this was one of the best. Our Christmas a.m. was so great. Love watching our grandbabies, even though they are growing fast.
