Crater Lake

Although I grew up in Oregon, I had never been to Crater Lake before. I told plenty of people it was a "must-see" destination in Oregon, but just hadn't quite found the time to visit myself. Finally...I did it! I took the exchange students on a day trip, and it was spectacular! We drove around the rim of the lake, stopping occasionally to walk around and take pictures. We spent some time at the lodge--which is rustic and gorgeous--before heading home.

On the way home, we stopped to check out several waterfalls on the Highway between Crater Lake and Roseburg. I definitely want to take this trip again when I have more time to explore.
