THIRTEEN!
OK, I have absolutely no idea how this happened, but I am now the parent of a TEENAGER! I guess that's what everyone meant when they said, "Enjoy every minute of it--they grow up quickly!"
Julianne has been counting down for months and is thrilled to have reached this milestone. While I must admit it makes me feel older than I really feel (understand that?), even more than that I feel incredibly proud of the beautiful young lady Julianne is becoming. She is smart, responsible, and so much fun to be around. We are so blessed to have her in our family.
She chose to celebrate with just the family, so I made her favorite dinner (fettucine alfredo w/shrimp). After dinner she opened her presents, which was funny since she got the same thing from everyone--cash! She loves to shop and now has quite a spree ahead of her.
Happy 13th Birthday, Julianne! I love you!

What a beautiful young lady!! Just think honey...you used to be a beautiful "glow worm" :)!!! My how time does fly. You have been blessed with a wonderful Mom and Dadwho raised you with sooo much love. We love you too honey.
Wow! Happy Birthday, Julianne! I hope you had a great day! Even though it's a little bit late, the wishes are sent with just as much love.
And Kari, you'll still enjoy every minute of it.....wait till you can say both of your children are ADULTS!! It's even more fun then! :)
Good morning. A wet Saturday a.m. and as I look at these darling photos, my heart just bursts with love for our grandchildren. How proud, and how beautiful each one are. Julianne...wow..a teenager. It sure does not seem like it at all. So grown up.
Both Papa and I love you so much!
This will be a fun year.
