Julianne had a wonderful season playing basketball this year. Her skills improved dramatically over the course of the season, and we had so much fun watching her play! She is an incredible defensive player, and she did her share of scoring too.

AYUSA Slumber party

I had mid-year orientation for all my AYUSA kids, and afterwards the girls stayed for a slumber party. It was so much fun! Julianne stayed for the sleepover, but we sent the rest of the family to Gold Beach.


We watched movies, played games, took pictures (taking pictures of oneself with one's friends is apparently a popular activity among teenagers now...), and even got a little sleep. Many of the girls complained about how much weight they've gained since they arrived in the U.S., but that didn't stop any of them from enjoying the abundance of junk food we had there!
