Washington DC

AYUSA holds optional pre-arrival orientation for the students in New York and Washington DC throughout August. Each session lasts three days, and they asked me to come to Washington DC to help with one of them. I've always wanted to see the sights in DC, so I jumped at this opportunity. It was a quick trip, but we had a professional tour guide that helped us squeeze as many sights into two days as possible. It was so much fun! My hotel room was beautiful, it was a great group of students, and Washington DC is a fascinating city. This orientation was a little unusual in that all the students were German. There's usually a mix of nationalities. Here's me in front of one of my favorite sights! My other favorite is the Lincoln Memorial.
