Pizza with Bruno
After the soccer game Thursday, we went out for pizza with the pastor of the Foursquare Church, his wife, and their exchange student, Bruno (from Spain).

Bruno is the exchange student that is being sponsored by the Coquille Rotary Club, of which Brad is a member. When we decided to host an exchange student this year, we were originally going to host through Rotary. We decided against it because we wanted to host for the whole year (Rotary students have 2-3 families) and we wanted to choose our student. (I couldn't handle the possibility of some hot Swedish girl living with us, and Brad didn't want a Latin American boy telling me things in Spanish that Brad couldn't understand.....just joking, of course...well, mostly joking.)
Anyway, the Rotary student that ended up here is Bruno. He is very nice, great with kids, a little on the shy side, and he loves to cook. I feel sure that we'd have loved hosting him, had we gone the Rotary route. However, we all love Marie so much that we just can't feel disappointed about our choice. We do plan to invite Bruno over to cook paella for us though. :-)
